We spent a day at the zoo with our friends Dave and Mac and Josh and Halen. Everyone had a great time, especially the kids. It was a beautiful day and most of the animals were out and putting on a show. Jocelyn's favorites were definitely the monkeys! (Aunt Jessica has her obsessed with monkeys and our house is quickly becoming full of them) The giraffes followed with a close second. She still asks me where the giraffes are.
It's really fun to watch her experience new things. Watching her expressions of excitement is incredible! Almost everyday brings new chances to learn and explore, with plenty of surprises and blessings.

I'm so glad you posted, and I can't wait to show Joanna your updated pictures tomorrow. She seems to be more interested in "FuCan" than any of the other little girls, and she studies and comments on every little detail in the pictures. The last set of pictures, she noticed Jocelyn's nail polish and showed me that it was like hers. She seems very pleased that Jocelyn has a momma and daddy, but when I watch her, it is obvious that she loved her dearly and is still missing her very much. Joanna finds monkeys fascinating also, and I will try to get her to understand that Jocelyn is the same way. Thanks for sharing!
