HOORAY!

Last weekend Tony received news that his impending deployment has been pushed back until April of 2009. We were very relieved and excited that he doesn't have to leave quite so quickly. Tony is especially excited that he is going to be here for Joss' first day of kindergarten.

A belated Happy Valentine's Day to all our loved ones. I'm sorry if we didn't get a chance to talk to you, but know that we love you. Joss and Tony came to the valentine's day party in the classrom where I am student teaching. Joss had a great time playing a game, seeing the kids and eating the yummy food. I think she is really enjoying all of the holidays we have here in the U.S. In the few months she has been with us she has encountered many holidays, most of which involve new clothes, dressing up, lots of food and presents. How can you go wrong?? :)

This morning we went to Messy Morning that was sponsered by the preschool and PTA. They had lots of arts and crafts and other messy fun things to do. All of the kids went home with a free book and some with cool door prizes! It was fairly chaotic with all of the kids and parents running around (not necessarily together) but Joss had fun and that was the point of the whole exercise. It certainly was an exercise on my part.

I would share pictures with you but alas, ours has been sent off for repair and we had to revert back to the old standby (ie: film). I know, I know, it's a sad, sad world. Even Jocelyn kept asking me to see the pictures. Even she thought it was strange that we didn't have digital capabilities. How quickly she has adapted! :)

Have a great weekend. Spend time with family. Enjoy your friends. Do something for yourself. Cherish the moments we have.

Also our church has Tony and Chris on our Military Bulletin Board already and have been keeping them close in heart and prayer. Thanks guys for continuing to serve our country!
