New Design

Its been a few years since I began our blog. When I first began we were in the waiting period for Joss and life was chaotic to say the least. My faith was being tried in many areas and I have to say that I didn't always run to God when I should have.
Life has changed a lot since then. We have traveled to China and back, become parents, discovered many things about ourselves and God, and dealt with many things in our marriage. And through it all I have seen God's grace above everything. So...we have the new title of our blog.
Life is full of opportunities for us to experience God's grace. And He desires to show it to us on a daily basis. Why then is it so hard for us to receive? For myself I find that I am hard on myself and very slow to forgive myself so it is hard for me to accept that a loving God would forgive me. But I don't want to make little of Christ's sacrifice and His continual love for me. One of my goals is to learn to walk in His love and grace on a daily basis and not continue to question or deny it.

For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God (AMP)

Ephesians 2:8

[All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus (AMP)

Romans 3:24

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! (AMP)
2 Corinthians 12:9
