Random Ramblings

We have spent the last two days at home due to more SNOW. Don't get me wrong, I wanted snow. I was one of the few who wished and hoped and prayed for a good winter this year. Maybe I shouldn't have been so adament. I'm ready for some spring!
It's been nice to sleep in and bum around the house, but after two days, it's been enough. I will admit that I can be really good at being lazy. Yesterday I spent most of the day on the couch watching movies and I think I took at least two naps. Lovely. Today necessitated a little more work and movement so I have been up and moving. We even ventured out to our favorite place for lunch. However I am ready to get back to school. I need some structure in my life. I need boundaries and somewhere to be at a certain time. I've always said I wouldn't be a great stay-at-home mom and these days are proving my theory to be correct.
I've been missing my sister more lately. She and I talk on almost a daily basis but it's not the same. It would be nice if she could be here so we could actually hang out. I have to admit that her beautiful baby girl has a bit to do with it also. She is now 10 months old and is talking up a storm and dishing up more cuteness than we can handle. It's hard to be so far away and only hear her cooing and talking over the phone.
We are down to 64 days to Tony's return. This is a semi-firm date because the military can always change anything they want. But that's what we are sticking with for now. We were hoping for him to be home by April 1st but we will take mid-April. I'm glad that he will be home by the end of the school year. That will make Jocelyn a very happy girl. It's no secret that we both need a little testosterone in the house. We love each other but we are also a lot alike!
Well it's off to make some dinner. Our goal is to clean out some of our pantry items this week. We'll see how creative we can be!

Yea and we are also anxiously awaiting Tony's arrival back home!
