2008/2009

It's almost 2009 and the house is quiet. Tony is working, Joss is sleeping and I am enjoying a bit of peace and quiet.
At the end of every year I spend time reflecting about where I am and where I wanted to be emotionally, spiritually, even financially. I always find myself lacking in just about every area, not quite making it to where I had planned. But then I remember that God is sufficient and He is still in control and ordering my steps.
As I look forward to this year I found a cool verse that I have never read (or glossed over): Psalm 65:11 - You crown the year with your goodness, and your paths drip with abundance. How cool is that? He crowns the year with His goodness. Well I could certainly use some of that this year!!
I am looking forward to this year and all that it may bring. Though there are some things I know I am not looking forward to, there are so many other blessings to experience.
