Last June we thought we were finished with paperwork. We were so excited to ship the package off to CHI and be done with it all. Well....things happen. :)
Because Tony has changed jobs and because we are adopting an older child we had to update some of our paperwork. It felt like we were back on the merry-go-round again! However last week we sent our Letter of Intent to CHI which they promptly shipped to China. Our other documents are at the Chicago Chinese Consulate and will follow the LOI to China as soon as we receive them back.
Our hope is that we will travel by August/September to get Jocelyn. Keep your fingers crossed and your prayers continuing!
In the meantime we are getting her room ready and it is coming together BEAUTIFULLY! Tony and Dave painted the room, we added a very cute bookshelf just yesterday and her closet is quickly filling up. Hopefully she will be pleased with having her own room, clothes, books and toys!
WE can't wait to see her and bring her home!!!

Neither can I. I can't wait to see her. I know her and Maddie will find lots of things to get into together. Of course i imagine Miss Maddie will instigate trouble. I am just eager to watch them try our patience. And them enjoy the sleepovers and play dates to come. Will pray for September to get here SOON. Lots of love guys! Congratulations.
